Punjabi Confidence!

George Bush was sitting in his office wondering whom to invade next when his telephone rang. 


'Hello, Mr. Bush!' a heavily accented voice said, 'This is Gurmukh from Phagwara, District Kapurthala, Punjab .. I am ringing to inform you that we are officially declaring the war on you!' 


'Well, Gurmukh,' Bush replied, 'This is indeed important news! How big is your army'


'Right now,' said Gurmukh, after a moment's calculation, 'there is myself, my cousin Sukhdev, my next door neighbor Bhagat, and the entire kabaddi team from the gurudwara. That makes eight' 


Bush paused. 'I must tell you, Gurmukh that I have one million men in my army waiting to move on my command.'


'Arrey O! Main kya..' said Gurmukh. 'I'll have to ring you back!' 


Sure enough, the next day, Gurmukh called again.


'Mr. Bush, it is Gurmukh, I'm calling from Phagwara STD, the war is still on! We have managed to acquire some infantry equipment!' 


'And what equipment would that be, Gurmukh' Bush asked.


'Well, we have two combines, a donkey and Amrik's tractor.'


Bush sighed. 'I must tell you, Gurmukh, that I have 16,000 tanks and 14,000 armored personnel carriers. Also, I've increased my army to 1-1/2 million since we last spoke.' 


'Oh teri....' said Gurmukh. 'I'll have to get back to you.'


Sure enough, Gurmukh rang again the next day.


'Mr. Bush, the war is still on! We have managed to get ourselves airborne.... .. We've modified Amrik's tractor by adding a couple of shotguns, sticking on some wings and the pind's generator. Four school pass boys from Malpur have joined us as well!' 


Bush was silent for a minute and then cleared his throat. 'I must tell you, Gurmukh, that I have 10,000 bombers and 20,000 fighter planes. My military complex is surrounded by laser-guided, surface-to-air missile sites. And since we last spoke, I've increased my army to TWO MILLION!' 


'Tera bhala hove....' said Gurmuk, 'I'll have to ring you back.'


Sure enough, Gurmukh called again the next day.


'Kiddan, Mr.Bush! I am sorry to tell you that we have had to call off the war.' 


'I'm sorry to hear that,' said Bush. 'Why the sudden change of heart?'


'Well,' said Gurmukh, 'we've all had a long chat over a couple of lassi's, and decided there's no way we can feed two million prisoners of wars!'

Misconception

In today's world of 6.9 billion humans, manipulation takes place on a massive scale. One of the easiest tool of manipulation is through religion.In the name of religion, terrorist acts have taken place in the past and in the name of religion has seen many innocents killed.This isn't specifically reffering to Islam but in general, in many genocides and wars. However, we should realize that this is what the world's major powers would want us to think, for the sake of easier manipulation.The world powers would want us to think of certain religion to be directly linked to terrorists so that it would be easier to manipulate the thinking of the general public that the actions being taken are based solely on stopping terrorisms to flourish and by such manipulation, actions that benefit a few has taken place. Like passing on the Security Bill in the House of Senates, purchasing weapon systems and investing more into military which would benefit a certain few, such as relatives of the Bush family, who "incidentally" are weapon manufacturers themselves. The ways of the world, everything makes sense and what the media wants you to think isn't exactly the truth or the whole truth.

Anyways, the related matter here is manipulation by certain powers into thinking that the Islam religion funds terrorists with its teaching as seeds. There is no such thing, as for every other religion in the world, Islam promotes peaceful teachings and the believe of the Creator and love to all fellow brothers and sisters.


The Arabic word salaam (سلام) ("peace") has the same root as the word Islam.One Islamic interpretation is that individual personal peace is attained by utterly submitting to Allah. The greeting "As-Salaamu alaykum", favoured by Muslims, has the literal meaning "Peace be upon you".


[Muhammad is reported to have said once, "Mankind are the dependents of God and the most beloved of them to God are those who are the most excellent to His dependents." "Not one of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." Great Muslim scholars of prophetic tradition such as Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani and Sharafuddin al Nawawi have said that the words ‘his brother’ mean any person irrespective of faith.

Updates

Another call for interview, that makes another 2 for next week. Sounds great and just in time where confidence was running low. In that sense, it has been a good week but in other senses,it still feels like low stress depression.


One can say all they want about how not having things to do is fun and having the world to yourself but it can cause low stress, one where there is no defining moment to look forward too or thing to show that the day is over.Sleep pattern is haywire and getting up is harder as you dont get up to anything.


Fortunately, live in brothers and mom is here at the moment, hav awesome friends and plenty of them too....that feels like there is support....football is there as usual...so there is like 2 hours every 3 days that makes me alive...and ohh she.....she surely makes me feel alive :) smile coz i know you're reading this now.Hahahahaha!

The will to survive

It is impossible to choke yourself. Don't try it, I'm sure there are plenty of people who are willing to do that for you..haha. 


Anyway's, the part where its impossible to choke ourself's proofs one very interesting characteristics of us humans that many of us are unaware of, about the natural instinct of survival.


How do you think people back in the days before medicines survived? There wasn't a pharmacy around the block, the blocks were there though, different type of blocks. Humans survived based on their hope on their own immune system would develop an antibody for themselves, one which we take for granted today because of the obvious reasons that its easier to pop out the antibiotics than to endure pain to get our own immune system to cure it for us.This further proofs that we have the natural ability to force our ways to survive.


And this point is very important.It has to be understand by us man, that just by the natural ability of man to do so has the existence of us humans in the universe remain ever present and that using this very same natural ability can very much work to our favour. The will to survive is in all of us, and that should be remembered when times are bad, we need to remember to hang on to our own self and give ourself's hope that we can solve it on our own. For those in depression, for those who are suicidal, this absolutely important as this will go in a long way to proof that no matter how bad/sad/hurtful things are right now, we are humans and we have the natural instinct to fight off anything that hinders our progress and the will to survive, and you will survive if you trust in it.

To my ever so loving lovely gorgeous mother, there is something I need to tell you..something which in person, its a little bit difficult to tell...its that there is no one soul in the world as great as yours, there is no burden heavier than you took for us, I give you my utmost respect and admiration for everything that you have been for me, and to think there wouldn't be without you, I should love you for eternity just for that, you are that soul to my body, you are the essence of life to me,i love you mother in every sense possible and Il always be,because mummy, I think you are god, you are definitely god to me


to all the love,all the care,all the sleepless nights you spend taking care of me when i was crying ,right till today when you absorb all the nasty things that i sometimes sinfully say without thinking, i am nothing without you, I am sorry :(

It just took one day for the good news to reach (ref to my last post)


and the good news happens to be about a job opportunity...something I have been waiting eagerly for quite some time now...happy...and excited.

Seem to be drifting away, that feeling of not having responsibility can be really fun but after some time, it hits you on the head..."why arent you doing something with your life?"

I am.I really am trying,times are hard...job opportunities are scarce and you live in a world where everyone pulls a string to get them into places or get some other people they know into places, people with real credibility rarely get a chance. Ways of the world Id usually say but when its affecting me like this, its difficult to accept that anymore.

Anywho, there is no point in whining, Il gotta keep digging it hard, somehow somewhere I will get that opportunity and the world better watch out, coz when I get my one chance, one shot, Im gonna take it..and shoot up to the stars...yeeeeeeaaaahhhhoooooooo (optimistic!)

other updates all include partying...so ill skip that bit

Fauja Singh is a 100 year old Indian born , who now holds the world record for the oldest man to have completed a marathon.


Apart from that, Fauja Singh, who is a vegetarian, holds UK records for the 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1000 m, 3000 m for his age group, records all set within a single 94 minute period.

and yeahh,one last thing....back in 2004, Fauja Singh appeared in an Adidas advertisement campaign alongside David Beckham and Muhammad Ali !!
