I was with Shammu and Siraj watching the United game, while counting down to it.
It was quite dramatic as the 19,999th goal was fittingly scored by a premier league legend, Sir Ryan Giggs, who incidentally becomes the only player in Premier League history to score in 20 successive seasons.

As the count stopped there, the 6 games which kicked off late reached half time, leaving the chance to score the historic landmark to players playing in the other three games that started earlier.We were watching City's game against Stoke when Aguero scored in the 54th minute as well and were shellshocked coz we thought that was the 20,00th.
We started cursing,desperation started to kick in.We badly didnt want that assholic argentinian midget to be the one scoring it and crossing fingers, hoping someone else in the other 2 games has beaten Aguero to it.
Hopes were answered, God does exist. Albrighton had scored just seconds earlier. Dramatic.
Glad it was anyone but a City player.Haha!
